SOUL OF THE EVENTS

The special creative venture of Soma Orlai Petrics takes as its theme Mihály Vörösmarty’s epic poem Fair Ilonka, written in 1833. Due to its theme and execution, the eight-part series of oil paintings is a curiosity for both literary and art history. For the first time, the entire artwork can now be viewed by the general public in a museum setting.
