The Károlyi Mansion, situated in the heart of the city centre between Ferenciek Square and Kálvin Square, with its unique facilities and faithfully renovated mansion halls, is recommended to institutions and companies for holding conferences, scientific lectures, press receptions, book launches and other functions in an imposing environment. The line of halls opened together can simultaneously accommodate some 300 guests, while the separate halls are suitable for symposia and workshops. The Ceremonial Hall itself can accommodate up to 110 guests. Should you wish to have a more intimate event for fewer people, individual halls can be hired. State-of-the-art facilities can be provided in the halls, contributing to your event being held at a high standard.
During intervals of the events the literary exhibitions of the museum provide a stimulating cultural experience. Guided tours about the history of the mansion are available on request.
The Classicist, U-shaped building embraces a landscaped garden lined with chestnut trees, where the Károlyi Restaurant and Coffee House with its own garden welcomes guests. The inner courtyard of the mansion provides a pleasant environment for open-air events and offers a limited number of parking spaces. A session room on the ground floor is an ideal place for courses and seminars for small groups.
The museum is situated close to metro lines 2, 3 and 4 (Astoria, Ferenciek Square and Kálvin Square stations) and can be accessed easily by car, although driving into and parking in the city centre is often not easy.
