Olvasói és írótársai felolvasással búcsúztak Esterházy Pétertől a Petőfi Irodalmi Múzeumban tartott rendezvényen, július 15-én, hét órától éjfélig.
A szervezők azt kérték, hogy aki felolvasással szeretné kifejezni a tiszteletét, válasszon ki egy legfeljebb öt perces Esterházy-részletet és azt olvassa fel. Az eseményen több százan vettek részt.
