The desk, ‘thinking chair’, floor lamp, carpet, wardrobes, sofa and chairs which belonged to Áron Tamási (1897–1966) can be seen in the Memorial Room. These objects, together with several items of furniture from his apartment in Pest, were presented to the Petőfi Literary Museum with the help of the Áron Tamási Foundation. The portrait of his mother, the photograph of his birthplace, the photo portraits of the writer, István Köpeczi Bócz’s stage design for his play A Songbird and Gábor Szinte’s painting are displayed on the walls, while János Sóvári’s sculpture is exhibited on the stand.
