Let’s learn a folk song together!

Singing together in the PIM garden

Date
Location
Is a folk song a literary text? What are the meeting points of folk poetry and literary lyrics and poems? Come, let's sing together and find the answers through singing!

In the garden of PIM, once a month during the summer, we can learn folk songs that have a relevance to the art of literature. We will learn 16th-18th century melodies and texts, Petőfi poems that have become folk songs, and songs with special rhythms that can be described using ancient verse forms.

The event is free, bilingual, and open to everyone curious about Hungarian literature or traditional music.
